This 40 inch DUMOS standing desk is a budget pick for tight spaces, with the 40 inch size fitting small setups and larger sizes also discounted. The desk has a 4.6 out of 5 rating, and the low price feels especially appealing compared with pricier standing desks. The main tradeoffs are the two piece desktop, which leaves a seam across the top, and a short, somewhat wobbly build that can dent or chip in shipping. It works best as a compact, inexpensive standing desk when you can live with the compromises.
Common Questions (4)
The 40-inch size is compact and can work well in a tight room, but it is described as pretty short in width. If you want more desktop room, the 48-inch model is only $4 more at $69.99 and the 55-inch is $79.99.
No. The top is made from two 12-inch-wide pieces, so there is a seam or gap across the desktop. A large mouse mat can help smooth it out for mouse use.
It can wobble, and the maximum standing height is reported as fairly short for a 5'7" user. A monitor mount may be needed to get the screen up to eye level.
No, the controller does not support daisy chaining, so two desks cannot be operated together as a cheap L-shaped standing desk.
