Noting for anyone with a PS5 Pro.... Sony in all their brilliant wisdom has yet to release a console cover for the console (other than the LE GoY), so if you want one you'll have to go with a 3rd party option. There are tons of options on Amazon with prices from $20, [amazon.com] just make sure to read reviews and get one w/ a disc drive (if you have one).

I bought some translucent blue ones from Ali for a slim I used to have and they were great and only like $22

Is this for decoration only? Is it recommended or does the device breathe better without it? Not trying to "warm up" the machine.

what? all this does is change the color of your console. it doesn't change anything regarding the thermals.
