season 1 got an 85 percent approval rating, season 2 74 percent rating, season 3 down to 60 percent rating. The critics really seemed to like season one in particular judging from wikipedia. You could look at it this way - 37 episodes for $5 and there's no pressure on you to "hurry up and binge watch all of it" as opposed to say buying a month's worth of Starz just to watch the show.
