I'd recommend putting the price in your title Smilie

Ok done. Just for you (redundant given that it's under the title, next to the slashed original price)

I couldn't post this part for some reason but micro center has it cheaper by $600 than Dell direct. Only noticable difference was the cherry mx keyboard from Dell..

Just wanted to save you grief lol. Folks get upset if a thread doesn't include the price

It was cheaper last year July/August.. dream any longer and it'll be more next year lol..
I'm torn between this and the MSI raider at Costco... 90 day return window 2 year warranty from Costco on the MSI vs 15 day return window and 1 year standard warranty on the Alienware...
MSI has the 285 processor... Alienware has the 275 , 5gb Ethernet, 300Hz screen and 6400Mhz RAM...

Can't afford it so that is my reality right now. Need a car more than a computer

How is the cooling on this? Every gaming dell laptop I've owned is loud and has mad cooling issues.

Noise is probably better than other key spec laptops. I'd expect an 18" 5050/60/70 to be much quieter than a 5090. Same with heat, the 5090 gets toasty. From what I found online, Fan Noise While Idle is 25.0 decibels. Fan Noise Under Load. up to 61.3 decibels (similar to a dishwasher)..
Cooling is supposedly better than others with the 5090.
With that said, I'd still use an external source to keep it cooler and try to prolong the life.

I completely understand... Been there...When I hit the Powerball/mega million jackpot, I'll buy you a car, the laptop and give you enough cash to make some of your bigger dreams a reality
