The ThermoPro TP50 is a simple indoor thermometer and humidity gauge that works well for checking room conditions, especially in basements or other spots around the house. It has a magnetic back, tabletop stand, and high and low memory, and the battery life has been described as lasting for years. The humidity reading is especially useful for tracking comfort and asthma triggers. The main caveat is durability, since the temperature display has failed after about a year in one case, and some prefer Govee models for accuracy.

Common Questions (3)

  • Yes. It can be used to compare indoor humidity and temperature against a thermostat, and multiple units can be placed around the house or in a basement to monitor different areas. The display also shows high and low readings, which makes it useful for tracking changes over time.

  • The battery can last for years, and one unit has reportedly lasted about 8 years. A separate report says the device can stop working after about a year, so longevity appears to vary by unit.

  • Yes. The offer is Prime-exclusive at $9.99 with free shipping, and if the price does not show on the product page, selecting "Other sellers on Amazon" can reveal the $9.99 Prime-exclusive option.

TempPro USA via Amazon [amazon.com] has ThermoPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer & Humidity Gauge for $11.99 - 5% when you 'clip' the coupon on product page = $9.49.

$11.99 - 5% does not = $9.49. Your math doesn't math. Also not seeing a coupon at all.

Bought this last month or so, not on sale, for cheaper than this.
