The ThermoPro TP50 is a simple indoor thermometer and humidity gauge that works well for checking room conditions, especially in basements or other spots around the house. It has a magnetic back, tabletop stand, and high and low memory, and the battery life has been described as lasting for years. The humidity reading is especially useful for tracking comfort and asthma triggers. The main caveat is durability, since the temperature display has failed after about a year in one case, and some prefer Govee models for accuracy.

  • The hygrometer can help compare indoor humidity readings against a thermostat across different rooms.

    Steroids

  • The humidity gauge can be useful for monitoring indoor conditions, including for asthma-related needs.

    TouchOfGray

  • The device can support long-term use with battery life lasting for years in reported use.

    TouchOfGray

  • The unit can be used in multiple locations around the house for humidity and temperature monitoring.

    JasonM121

  • Temperature functionality can stop working while humidity continues operating.

    Lobbymonster

  • The device can stop working after about a year of use.

    jimbo1245

  • Accuracy expectations may be lower than competing hygrometers, with Govee models reportedly seeming more accurate.

    HappyHose3869

  • Prime-exclusive pricing can be confusing, since some buyers report not seeing the coupon or deal math on the page.

TempPro USA via Amazon [amazon.com] has ThermoPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer & Humidity Gauge for $11.99 - 5% when you 'clip' the coupon on product page = $9.49.

$11.99 - 5% does not = $9.49. Your math doesn't math. Also not seeing a coupon at all.

Bought this last month or so, not on sale, for cheaper than this.
