It's 2026...one wheel should work for both PS5 and Xbox (and PC). I'm sure it's not that hard to do...

I have a feeling the 923 series is really the same thing with a firmware locking it in and a logo difference only.

When the next xbox thats really a pc is released, the ps one will work on it.

Is this worth the extra $$ over the Logitech G29 set?

if you want "trueforce" compatibilty with your game (not that many), a easier to depress brake pedal and dont like the red knob and rather have black knob, then yes.

For xbox the same but over the 920 this has the black knob and the up/down buttons too the 29 has (red knob though)

The 923 is more like a 29(ps) than a 920(xbx).

There is a physical difference, the licensicing/security chip that allows for console compatibility. I don't see it changing in the future because Xbox already runs a locked down version of Windows and there's almost no one that really includes both across all wheel manufacturers.

What im trying to say is the security chips for both are in the base/wheel already. Its just some code that makes it one or the other. That and the logo/packaging is the only difference. At one time Logitech said that either one will be compatible with the other pending approval. That approval has not happened yet or who knows if it ever will.
