I'm not really into racing games but like open world games, this is a pretty neat mix of the two. So far played about 5 hours (bought on a prior sale) Lots racing and non racing activities, collect-o-thon stuff, etc. Personally some of the races seem a bit harder than they should (no ability to change difficulty either...at least on PC), especially considering a lot of younger kids probably play this.

The car upgrade system is really slow to progress and even if there are supposedly performance improvements, I don't ever feel an upgrade does anything.
