They won't give you the rebate. Look at all the recent posts on other thread. They play games, make up random problems that didn't happen and make you wait months

Edit: Some of you replied you keep screenshots and always get yours. I'm not new to this. I've done it before also. This time they really put up a fight and gaslighted me. They even resubmitted my rebate and created a new entry ID offer after the one I applied for was supposedly ineligible, the new one is currently still pending after two weeks. I signed up beginning of Dec....

Agreed! Shitty ass practices! Verizon is the same, never got my free Meta Quest 3S. Returned the gateway and they still charged me for the service and the gateway! Customer service is awful, they don't do their job, they say they'll get everything fixed and just keep you on hold!

When you said speed was good, are you on the cheapest "Rely home internet" plan or the top tier?
All three plans offer the same speed package. However, the mid-tier and high-tier include the newer modem and this modem is known to output faster speeds.

It works but the jitter for me was high meaning that the signal was not consistent and my phone calls would break up quite often....words would get lost, etc. That's because the signal is going over the air vs through a cable or fiber optic which is much more stable.
VOiP Tech here - Download a SIP ALG detector to see if SIP ALG is enabled on your router. If SIP ALG is enabled on your router, disable it. It does not help with VOiP traffic. Check your routers documentation to access/change.

I don't have it anymore. I switched to Frontier with fiber optic which has no problem with high jitter. But your suggestion might be helpful for someone else! Smilie

Well, that's a shame I've had them since November 2025 and rescued my $300 prepaid card, as well as my 43-inch Samsung QLED Smart TV And also, receive free HBO MAX w/ Netflix w/ ads. Only playing $50 a month, but I already did have Verizon Wireless too. Might want to check your spam email folder for the emails they send as well as notifications on the Verizon Wireless and Verizon Home Internet apps. To each their own.

Close. All three offer the same uncapped speed when a tower is not congested.

However, the lowest tier plan, the Rely plan, will have slower speeds when a tower is congested.

All the plans will be reduced to the lowest priority when they exceed 1.2 TB per billing cycle.

This would be enticing if the rebate wasn't a scam, except it is a scam. So, no.

I wish this becomes available in my area, which currently only has one available provider. Lack of competition has pushed the price up too high...

How is the latency with T-Mobile 5g Internet? On my phone, 5g tends to be noticeably slower when initially loading something compared to wifi
I have a pretty good connection with speeds ranging from 400-1300 Gbps, though that top end has been rare. It's usually about 500-900 though with 80-150 up. Latency has been better than I anticipated, typically about 12-25ms (I think it's ms, right?). Anyway, I game and was worried with moving from FIOS, but it's been fine, mostly. I've had issues with the wireless access point dropping the connection even though it's located fairly close to the gateway. I may try wireless only because the gateway signal is pretty strong with Wifi7. If I still have issues, I'll be going back to FIOS.

Also, note that the newest gateway, while it has Wifi7 does NOT have external antenna connections. They removed those from the unit compared to the older gateway. It apparently still has the connections internally, but you'd have to do some soldering from what I remember reading.

Thanks. I checked and it seems the service is not available in my area.

I didn't get my claimed first month free or the $300 gift card. Never even recieved a communcation or info about it after entering the promo code. That said, Phone support was little to no help. I had also paid down ~$830 down on my phones when we went to T-Mobile and that had also seemingly vanished into thin air. I learned to go to Facebook and reach out to support on the t-mobile facebook page. Asked for T-Force, told them my situations and provided screenshots of credits shown in my account and reciepts, they promptly called me, paid off my phones in full, and applied $355 in credits to my account for the internet promotions that I was elegible for and recieved nothing for. Needless to say, I learned to reach out to them for support via Social media from then on.

You can't change any settings in this router beside adding new SSIDs. Personally I think the person have issues with oomo is a one off, ooma and t-mobile run promos so it can't be an issue for everyone
