Even for $10 it's hard to figure a good use for this. It would make a cheap shop/garage radio if you wanted to create that old school vibe, and turn on the local AM or FM station.

My 13yr old niece has wanted my old collection of cds. I was looking for a little boombox like this but they are all around $50 (lowest $30). Thank you for posting!

I have no idea about the sound quality. But it does have an aux input so you could toss a chromecast audio etc on it.

I actually do listen to AM/FM radio occasionally, but already have my AVR setup for it.

For 10 bucks, it's a functional boombox with working speakers. If you're handy you could reoutfit this thing with a Parts-Express bluetooth boombox kit and modernize it.
