Royal Dansk Danish Butter Cookies are presented as a cheap tin of classic butter cookies, with the current price framed as a clearance move on leftover holiday stock. The cookies are described as tasting fine, and one opened tin carried a best by date of April 2026. The main concern is quality skepticism around whether recent batches are the same as before, with claims that the product is being pushed out as inventory ages and may not match the old standard. A decent option if freshness and consistency are not your top priorities.

Common Questions (3)

  • A tin bought in November 2024 had a best-by date of Apr 2026 and still tasted fine. The deal may be clearing older holiday inventory, but the cookies can still be well within date.

  • The packaging is described as made in Denmark, and one comment simply identifies them as Denmark. Another comment raises the possibility of India manufacturing, so the origin claim is being questioned in the thread.

    darksiderisinggandhravgandhrav

  • The price appears tied to oversupply and post-holiday clearance: the cookies were described as holiday leftovers, with prices previously dropping to $4.28 before rising to $14. The current discount is presented as a way to move inventory as expiration approaches.
