I have a really nice full size Logitech I've beem using as a travel mouse. But for $7 to cut some weight and size in my bag, I will give it a shot.

Nah. You have heard a mouse before. Everyone has. The sound it makes is a literal lexicon of the computer age. Click. The sound it makes is click. Click here, click there. Some people would like to "click" on links without hearing a click. That's what a silent mouse is for.
And for the record, this mouse is not silent. You can still hear the click, it is just very muted to the point where you wouldn't be able to hear it from a few feet (or a cubicle) away.

I bought this mouse a couple of weeks ago and I can report that it is much more quiet than a regular mouse. Can't really imagine one might be any more quiet and still have a tactile click feeling. Without the physical click, it would be nearly impossible to use, so there has to be at least something there. Even the scroll wheel is pretty much silent, other than the press of the wheel to go between step scroll to smooth scroll which is a pretty solid click.
My biggest annoyance with it is the sleep mode. This thing will shut off after 10 minutes or so. You will need to click it like three or four times to wake it up. Super annoying. Why does every other wireless mouse in existence just need to be shaken to wake up? But this one lays dead until you click the button a bunch of times. Not human intuitive and clearly the reason they are blowing these out. You will obviously lean to live with it, but not a good system at all.
But a decent 2.4G/2 BT selectable mouse for $7? Hard to say no.

Mine arrived today. It's okay, but it takes forever to wake up from sleep. Put it back in its box and will probably just use as a spare on a raspberry pi or something. Also, that entire oval top part comes off to reveal the battery compartment, there isn't a bottom hatch. And it doesn't snap back on either. Just a weakly designed mouse overall.
