This is not an especially good set. The best starter set is Harbor Freight's Quinn Mater Technicians Tool set:

The Quinn set includes a full set of wrenches, and they're ratcheting wrenches, which is far better. They include a breaker bar, the sockets are clearly labeled and a much more thorough range of sizes is included. It has a full set of screwdrivers and is overall far better for jumping into car repair.
