I love these cookies. They are the closest I have found to the consistency of the cookies in oreos. We whipped up a simple icing, and made some homemade oreos that we thought were superior. We put them in the freezer to firm up the icing.
Totally worth it for $1.20. I paid $2.19 for these in January. I thought it was crazy that Amazon was willing to ship a product that costs $2.

They shipped them in a plastic package instead of a box. The first 4-5 cookies on the side I opened were broken. I expect the same for the other side. And probably some in between. How hard is it to look at the item before packaging and think if it will need some cushioning protection? The cookies are decent though. Mild chocolate flavor that goes well with tea or coffee.

Agree in re soft packaging. It's an easy problem for me to solve, but yeah. My solution involves immediate consumption of cookie particles.

Out of stock but 2 pack or 4 same sizes as the 1 pack are a better value.

I used them to make bourbon oreos. I didn't think they were that close. Unfortunately Nabisco stopped selling unstuffed cookies.

There is something so addicting about maria cookies. They are so cheap yet so good. And they are so versatile also, can make pie crusts, etc.
