I suggest going for the double wheel version. Single wheel is great, it just comes with increased chances of rolling over your toes or pet tails.

I do not have these but will say that the blade wheels are really helpful on carpeted floors. The price is fine on the deal, but generally you can find these in the $17.50 is the average daily price for various brands on Amazon. Here are the ones I have on my chair.

That said, TICONN is a popular brand for this type of wheel and they're well-reviewed so if you're needing the upgrade I do recommend.

I have these exact double wheels on 6 chairs.

They are a huge improvement in smoothness and noise over the crappy hard plastic wheels that come on office chairs.

I wholeheartedly agree. The action of these casters made me even reconsider buying a floor mat. They are literally so smooth, it feels like you're skating on a smooth surface.

IKEA uses 10mm instead of 11mm so they won't work (my guess is to make you buy their own replacements but idk).

Careful before going with the 2" dual wheel casters, in a lot of cases it will lower the total height of the chair. Which might cause clearance issues for the gas cylinder dragging on the floor.

The roller blade wheels DESTROYED my high pile carpet. The rubber pulls the fibers around when they change direction. There's a big matted ring on my office floor now. I've put a chair mat over it, but the ring still has an impression. The carpet is ruined. STRONGLY recommend getting dual wheels (larger contact area) and a chair mat.

does your carpet have a lot of padding in it? Mine was a medium/high pile and no issues.
