Thx OP. I have 2. Best carry-on imo. Ordering 2 more. Bought mine back in 2023 and no issues. Can't beat the worry free warranty.

What's the hype for this? the lifetime warranty? A samsung top with spinner wherlsand tsa lock can be bought for $99 and then just get a power bank for cheap just curious to know.

Yes, the lifetime warranty, overall good build quality/durability for the price, and great wheels. The wheels have a magnetic system system that seems to make rolling it around a little easier. The USB passthrough is worthless to me. I just plug directly into a power bank.

Is the softside better than the hardside? Hardside is on sale for similar price?

It's a great bag, but I don't like how easily it rolls away if there's is even the slightest angle to the surface it's resting on. Many times, I've taken my hand off it to do something, and it just rolls away on its own. It's taken a fall down stairs before as a result.

That's exactly what I'm looking for! A bag that rolls super easy... if it's easy to roll when fully loaded and I'm running late to get to my next gate, I can manage it drifting away from me when standing still.

Sometimes you need more than 1 hand to do things at the airport?

It shouldn't just roll off the second I take my hand off of it at the slightest incline.

Agree on how smoothly the bag rolls without resistance. That's a double-edge sword in many international places were things are not always perfectly flat (hotel ramp, lobby, airport, etc.).
I have found this closer to $200 either at the physical outlet or online - but that was 6-12 months ago.
It is a great bag - I would still buy it at $250.

Yeah I have used this for about 3 years now and it is still my favorite carry-on. the magnetic wheel lock is fantastic and the rolling resistance is so low that it is a dream to push in airports. Only issues I have heard of are the metal zippers can pull apart if too full(or so some have said) and that the bag will sometimes roll away from you.

Any thoughts on the hard shell version vs this?

I am proponent of getting the soft side, IMO, it allows more flexibility with overpacking and is more rugged re: abuse (though technically not a long-term issue for other configuration as each has a lifetime warranty).

Hardshell has 5 years warranty. Softshell has lifetime.
