Same deal on gluten free macaroni too. Even slicker for those if that's your thing as they're usually more expensive.

My goto pasta as it has a decent amount of protein and fiber and the taste is pretty good.

These high protein pasta has 10g of protein for 56g (2oz) compared to 7 g of protein in regular pasta according to its label. Therefore, regular pasta has 12.5% protein and protein pasta has 17.8% of its weight.

Right now the Barilla 16-oz penne pasta [amazon.com] is $1.84 ($0.12/oz) and this deal on the protein multigrain penne is $1.87 each ($0.13/oz).

Not really worth it, minimal increase in protein and fiber, but you still need to rely on a main protein source in meal

For those looking for gluten free pasta ... the advertised product is not gluten free. The first two ingredients are "Semolina (Wheat), Durum Wheat Flour".

The box is highly misleading as it states "Made from Lentils, Chickpeas & Peas" ... but not wheat. BTW ... I love and grew up on pasta, it is my spouse that cannot stomach it.

Good amount of fiber in these. I'd say that's their selling point over the protein.

Switch to brown rice, maybe? Lentils, too.

Sorry to be confusing. THIS deal is not for gluten free pasta, it's for protein pasta. But the gluten free pasta is also on sale, so I included a link to that separate deal. Hope this explains. Sorry again for the confusion.
