Community Reviews

Claude Pro is positioned as a strong AI subscription for coding, reasoning, and structured work like research, itineraries, and step by step project plans. The discounted three month offer makes it easier to test against ChatGPT or Gemini, and the Pro tier is described as more useful than the free version because it avoids the frequent usage wall. The main caveats are the plan limits, which can arrive quickly, and the promo appears inconsistent for existing or recently renewed accounts. Some checkout pages also showed the regular $20 per month price with auto renew, so the deal may not apply cleanly for everyone.

  • Claude Pro can help generate structured travel inquiries and Excel-formatted itineraries from review sources.

  • Claude Pro can break complex coding work into step-by-step instructions that lower-skill developers can follow.

  • Claude Pro can avoid the free-tier usage wall that forces waiting hours for refresh.

  • Claude Pro can be used with a claude.md file to set project requirements and potentially reduce wasted AI credit.

  • Claude Pro usage limits can reset on a schedule and still include weekly caps across models and features.

  • The promo can fail to apply when a subscription renews before the discount window, leaving the user paying full price.

  • The checkout flow can show $10/month for 3 months on the landing page but $20/month with auto-renew after clicking through.

  • Access to Claude may be difficult for free accounts because phone linking reportedly requires a paid account.

Doubt this will last. US no evil models won't be able to compete with leading militarized China AI models without any safety restrictions. China will overtake US soon.

Did super nice ladies have pink hair?
white lady 40+ years old... with kids and a nice husband. Does not make a difference though. Goons abusing people is simply wrong. What made MN work is us normal people said we're not gonna take it.

We should have known better when they had different algorithms for China's Tiktok to make their citizen's smarter while making Americans dumber. Think everyone will be learning and speaking Chinese soon with the global leading evil AI models.

OPEN QUESTION to all the computer tech pros: are there any major quality/performance differences among the major AI for normal, non-coding usage (basically asking general knowledge/advice questions that we used to ask Google and then have to wade through all the links most of which are useless)? I'm thinking: ChatGPT vs Gemini vs Claude vs CoPilot, etc.? At the FREE level, are they all about the same?

the landing page says $10/month for 3 months, but when I click through it says "$20/month and Your subscription will auto renew on 4/2/2026. You will be charged $20.00/month + tax." huh? Is anyone else seeing that?

I spent enough time on both Tik Tok and the actual Chinese one to know it was the same algo. I just wanted random cat videos and things to make me happy. It slanted to making americans much dumber after losing the game of Chicken with Trump. We've reached the point where honestly you shouldn't be using anything US owned. The surveillance state is less dangerous when its a DIFFERENT country spying on you vs the one you live in. You look into Palantir and what ICE has been doing? Yeah I'm on terrorist watch lists by now and places like Reddit are gladly handing over everything on you. I'm just an old school tin foil hat guy that is super sad to have been right all along.
Those stupid plate reading cameras (Flock) and Ring doorbells scare the hell out of me.

Yes, because as we all know, Blewsky is the bastion of big-brained free speech and rational discourse.

Thanks OP - looking to drop GPT due to it's inherently biased coding.

Subscribe to Pro, regardless of Claude being down. If the reason is Government fueled, even more reason to subscribe. If it's simply server overload, then subscribing will enable Anthropic to expand.
So if you were going to subscribe, don't let Claude being 'down' stop you.

Pretty good deal to try out pro versus just using the free version. I've been thinking about this for a while because of hitting the wall on usage and then having to wait a few hours to refresh.
