As noted by many, on the last checkout screen when you order, SCREENSHOT the page that shows 'your order qualifies for the $30 credit" statement. That way if it doesn't show up, you have substantiation they can't wiggle out of.

If buying cat litter, why not just buy the 3 pack from Walmart for cheaper price per pound even after taking into account the $30 promo credit and need to buy $100 at a time??
Walmart= 3 pack of 35lb bags at Walmart= $39.97 for 105lbs= 38 cents per pound
Amazon= 5 40lb bags at Amazon @22.99 each= $114.95- 30 credit=$84.95 for 200lbs= 42 cents per pound

Yes, screenshot everything, especially if you have multiple items in the order. If the items ship separately, Amazon will create new order IDs for each shipment. My theory is when they check 30 days later to make sure you don't return anything, they no longer see a single order with $100 in qualifying items.

This thread reminded me I didn't get the last two promotion credits for this. Chat support asked for a screenshot but I didn't have one. They went ahead and said they gave me a courtesy credit. But after ending the chat I found it to only be $15...

Ahh was going to bite on the doc elseys litter but you can only buy 3 at a time so I can't hit the $100. Guess I'll just have to stick with PetSmart.

You can buy 2 of the "scented" bags or the multi cat bags and it should still work.

That last offer was the first time I ever had to contact support about an offer like this. Fortunately, they took my word and gave me a $30 GC but I will certainly be more paranoid going forward.

100% make sure you take screenshots and any proof that you can. I never received my promotional credit from the last one either, and when I contact Amazon, they just keep repeatedly asking for a screenshot for proof saying there's nothing they can do.

As others have said, make sure you have a screenshot of the checkout with the offer. I've had to argue with customer service twice now for this deal when the credit didn't show up after 30 days so it's just not worth it for me.

I stopped doing this deal because I wasn't getting the credit either. I had to spend an hour with Amazon support to get a $25 credit (not $30). It's not worth an hour of my time. Better off with Chewy and their $30 gift card for $100 spend, we've never had an issue with that one.
