Nice not seeing it paired with a 2.0, or 3.0 amp battery. This 5.0H.O is the best battery for it. Shows it's true potential.

Great deal! At 199.99, folks would jump all over this pairing. $10 more isn't a big ask. For reference, I got the tool only from a FP deal here a couple of weeks ago for 150 (Fasteners Inc, Authorized dealer) and two XC 5.0 batteries from Woot for 109 (non authorized dealer but 50 capital one statement credit). Ultimately my purchase will net the same as this deal and I have 2 batteries, but this is no hoops to jump through and I might regret having 2 batteries from a non-authorized dealer even if Milwaukee warranties the born on dates. 3/8" stubby impact is great fo use on lug nuts and general use but larger bolts like crankshaft and ball joint nuts are more common in 1/2" impact socket sizes.

I used a low profile 1/2 inch adapter adapter and was able to pull the crank bolt and pulley off a 14 year old LS3 with this setup. It also got the crusty exhaust bolts out.

Tempting ! I own the first gen stubby still going strong. I own all 3 1/2-3/8-1/4" . I've seen the videos and reviews of this 2nd gen and it's an improvement. I've missed a few deals in the past on this tool..... this is a good deal.

Same boat. It's definitely my most used power tool. I have plenty of M18 tools for more stubborn fasteners, but can't really justify the newer gen stubby when my original one is still going strong and still very useful. I understand the want to have a tool that can do it all without having to grab a larger tool, but not sure if that justifies buying an entirely new tool.

Curious to hear your thoughts.

Betting you can find one super cheap (or even free from a buddy) on marketplace. I've given extras away to friends.

My thoughts are I could always use more batts but I own a couple of these 5.0's already. The cheapest I remember seeing tool only was around 150$ . A deal similar will come again. If I really needed another 5 for 60$ more ain't bad. I'm going to wait. I own 3.0 cp 2.0cp I don't own a 2.5 h.o. yet maybe I will come across a stubby and 2.5 deal in the future.

It's good enough for a lot of stuff. This impact in particular is a beast for it's size.

My neighbor was doing some ooooold snow belt brakes and couldn't get the caliper bolts off. His big old ryobi wasn't doing it and he was going to have to reset the jack stands to get a big breaker bar in there. Brought this lil guy over and BRRTT it broke those caliper bolts loose in under a second each.

I've also done axle nuts on a much newer/cleaner vehicle and it didn't break a sweat.
