I have it. It works perfectly fine. I wish it was rechargeable but jsut threw som rechargeable batteries in it.

These aren't that great. They are ok for general or rough measurements but if you're doing precise measurements, cutting, layouts, etc. it's not worth it. I got one and returned it.

Good 3/4 inch blade tape measure. If you are doing rough layouts long distances, or room sizes lasers are great. For precision measurements below 1/2 inch, it is too easy to miss measure with a laser.

That's what I came here to say. I'm not a contractor but I doubt a contractor would trust something like this on a job and then cut the piece and find out this is a $16 dollar POS. Sorry.

Got something similar but different brand. The laser is not bright enough to use outside during daytime. Can't see where you are pointing to.

This seems to periodically go on sale for this price. I bought one last time, and have used it since. Very useful, especially for the price, I found it pretty accurate and easy to use. And there's a tiny level on it too.

I just got the 328ft version for $4 more. I've used lasers before and you want the brightest you can afford because in daylight you'll barely be able to see it. But I like it. It can be configured to display in fractions of an inch which is hugely important.
