How do these fit (snug or baggy)? I usually wear large , but sometimes, medium works — 5'10, 185 avg, dad bod, not fat but not ripped 😂
I'm the same height/weight. About 36 waist. Large fits me and it's snug when zipped.

A lot of down gets lost with these lower end Patagonia items. The thread count and shell denier rating has a lot to do with feathers poking out.

I can tell you the Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer and their other down vests and outerwear are pretty tight. You might get a small end of a feather to poke through, but I've never had a feather stem/quill poke through like with Patagonia.
Neat fact...the Nano Puff has never been down which is good and bad (depending on the user). Mostly it's been good for me when I have to do activities where it could get wet (down is terrible for those).

Though as a sidenote, I would agree...some of my Patagonia that did use down hasn't always been as good. Nano Puff generally don't have issue with the insulation moving because as in the name reflects "nano puff", the patch these in little squares to help minimize migration. Have used it several years and worked great.

Not very warm. Comfortable to wear in the 40s. If you are using it as a mid layer while active I suppose it would do the job down to ~30F
