I've been pretty much refreshing the Microcenter bundle page daily to check on prices and it looks like this morning they dropped their prices. The 7600X and 7600X3D bundle used to be $399, they are now $299.59 and $345.13 respectively. The 7700X bundle went from $499.99 to $444.29.

The only unfortunate part is I can't seem to "build" with the bundles anymore so I couldn't upgrade from 16gb to 32gb of memory at a discount.

Indeed, it looks like you can no longer price out the 7600x3d with 32gb of RAM.

However, the much better move now is the base 7800x3d bundle. At my MC it is $532.65 and comes with an excellent B-650E motherboard and 32gb of RAM.

In the past month or two, lots of folks would have just bought the 7600x3d bundle with a worse motherboard and 32gb of RAM for anywhere between $470-$500.

Paying an extra $30-$60 for a better motherboard and better processor with the current 7800x3d deal is very slick, given current prices.

Edit: I played around on the MC website and found something interesting. It used to be the case that you could get bundle pricing by either using the add bundle to cart feature OR by adding each individual item in the bundle to your cart. The same price would be reflected no matter which of those you did. NOW, adding each item to your cart does not reflect the bundle pricing available on the bundles pages. The only way to get bundle pricing is to use the add bundle to cart button. This doesn't seem like such a big deal, but it did enable you to get the 7600x3d with 32gb of RAM, whereas now you cannot do that anymore.

I believe they actually removed the "build" option from the 3-in-1 bundles a few days ago, not just after these price drops.

How about this bundle for $582.85 with better CPU and M/B?

-- AMD Ryzen 9 9900X,
-- MSI X870E-P Pro WiFi DDR5,
-- G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit,

Ryzen 9 9900X performs better than Ryzen 7 9850X3D in general.

Depends on you what you plan on using it for. The X3D processors handle gaming better and also utilize slower RAM better due to the larger cache. The X are typically better for productivity and creation.

Why settle for a 7800x3d if you can get a 9800x3d combo for $591

I almost drove there yesterday. Glad I didn't! Last time I drove there and bought a samsung nvme and the price had went up overnight from $300 to $400 on literally every website. I would have been screwed twice.

When they took all of the Crucial OC Ram off and just substituted regular Crucial Ram about 3 weeks ago AND jacked the prices up, I stopped looking at upgrading. Just decided to keep my current build for another 3 or 4 years with this garbage market

I wonder if a price adjustment can be done? Bought one of these less than a month ago. If not, could I not just go buy the same kit and then return it with the previous receipt?

Yes, deal is dead. They reverted the price back. Oh well, that is fine. I just won't upgrade. Memory price is stabilizing and trending down. I'll just hold the money in my pocket.
