Got one off amazon.. 4 cats and nto one of them scratch like the picture they all just scratch the bottom and move on..

All of my cats love these and always stretch as high as they can. I did show them "how" to scratch the top s they didn't get it at first. I just ran my nails over the top when they were checking it out and they "got it." Lol

This actually looks pretty nice. My cat loves scratching cardboard pads, and the L-shape design seems like it would keep him busy.

my cats the opposite, all the top parts were scratch to oblivion while the bottom towards middle was untouched. in 4 1
