I got myself a top quality one of these 20 years ago and it still looks good. I got a cheapo 10 years ago, wore it once and dumped it in the bin at Goodwill because it looked like crap and rippled when it got wet. If you're looking to buy something like a full length top coat, you want it so you can look good, not look like a hobo that gets their clothes out of the goodwill bin. Go to a department store or men's store in the next few weeks and check their seasonal clearance racks for merino wool top coats, spend some money once, and look good for years and years. This thing will not pass for a good quality coat.

i refuse to donate to Badwill. they are ripping people off these days. watch the youtube videos of people looking at pricetags that are more than retail on clothes and other items. their online auctions are basically scams. i'd rather donate to my local shelter or church than enrich the executive trash at Badwill.

But at the same time, given how easy they made the refund process, one could argue it was almost a good thing. Because, hey, free coat, and it's really not a bad coat.

I bought the woman's version a few months ago, got the wrong color and size, did NOT complain, and somehow a month later they figured it out, send me an email, and then sent me the correct size and color. I didn't have to do anything.
Buying this for the kid in college. If he wears it to a party/frat formal and gets beer spilled on it, I won't care. Save his "nice" coat for interviews.

They sent me the wrong size. They caught their own mistake without me contacting them directly. They sent the right size, and I donated the wrong size one to mutual aid.

I got a terrible color. Refunded without return but the color is bad I was disappointed that my wife paid $2 to bring it to the dry cleaners. I'll probably never wear it.
