Purchased these 3 times and while they're accurate the nib that holds the needle will ALWAYS crack and eventually break.

I've had two of these for a long time, maybe since the pandemic. They feel really cheap but get the job done. The magnets are handy and the light is nice. AAA battery is great too, much better than watch batteries. Temp is very close to some more expensive thermometers I have. Not quite as fast getting there but good enough.

In other words you can spend a whole lot more and not get a better temp reading.
