Hard isn't the correct word. Routers are fairly easy to use, but are extremely dangerous tools when handled improperly. I would definitely read up and watch some videos on proper safety precautions, how to ensure your equipment is setup and maintained properly, and which bits should be used for various situations. It's definitely not something to go into without researching first. Could cost you a finger or worse.

It's a fine router table for what it is, but it has some compatibility quirks. Make sure your router fits the plate before buying. Additionally, I only know of 2 router lifts that fit in this table due to its irregular-sized plate. - Having said all of that, it does everything it advertises well and is easy to assemble and setup. I'm still not sure I really need it, but that's my problem.

MDF can be replaced, try to sand this down to be level. And if you hope it is - doubleck when you receive it. You might be disappointed, a lot.

Just a single anecdote, but I use this table and had read of a few folks who had warped tables, so checked mine over for flatness upon receiving. It's been several years, but I recall other than a slight burr on one corner, my table arrived in good shape!

I honestly expect I'll probably retire this soon as I am working on planning out a new workbench that will integrate the router. But this little table has worked well for me over numerous projects.

Good deal! I got this back in Jan for about this price.

One nice thing is it is pretty easy to fit into a Delta 36-725T2 table saw.

I got that table saw on a 50% off deal a couple years ago so I am looking forward to fitting it in.

Although the fence is MDF, the table itself is actually aluminum on this model. I've had it for about 15 years. Works well. My main complaint is that the aluminum can leave black marks on the workpiece.
Also fits well on between the rails of a Ridgid 4812/4820 table saw.
