I paid $2999.99 for this set on Nov 17, 2023. It's given me 2 years of reliable service and a beautiful picture. YMMV. I think this is a great price for an 8 series TV albeit a couple years old.

Bestbuy has the 100U8K for $1950 right now as well. I came close but ultimately did not pull the trigger. The TCL 98"QM7k seems comparable or better at 3000-nit vs 1500-nits on the 100Uk8. The 98QM7K has been priced at $1997 a couple times in the past couple of months so confident there will be further price drops.
