Recently bought one of these and one of the full zips on sale via an REI gift card. The quarter zip is slightly chunkier/has room at the very base along the bottom seam/different colored stripe vs the full zip fitting slightly more form fitting around the bottom seam. Happy with both, but the quarter zip would definitely be better if you have more layers or a bigger belly while the full zip would be better for slimmer guys. Columbia makes similar full zip for much cheaper right now but not as nice feeling all around.

Edit: Fit on pic of Seabird Grey color in particular is pretty accurate for quarter zip I got.
