Not a deal at $45 either. At best it's a $20 pan.

$20 for an enameled cookware piece? In 2026?

Tell me you haven't bought a quality fired enamel cast iron in the last few decades.

Value is established by the buyer, but this pan (in Pistachio) is on sale and selling for $78.47 on Amazon. This is a good deal as far as price comparison.

what's the point of enamel coating at the bottom if the actual grill where the food contact with is not coated?
like seriously, what's the difference between this vs plain cast iron

Agreed. If it was USA iron, it'd be worth a bit more. But with Chinese metal, who knows what's in it...and what'll end up in your food.

Tell me you've only owned Chinese factory churned cookware. Not worth $20.

The interior is finished with a matte black enamel. Some people find enamel easier for cleanup and doesn't need sesoning. Also makes it dishwasher safe 🫣

You have to be really committed to using a grill pan, as you need to really scrub between the grooves. I have the Lodge grill pan, and it's about to get sent to the Salvation Army. A flat-bottom cast-iron/enamel pan is way more versatile.

Putting a cast iron skillet in the dishwasher is like putting hockey skates in the washing machine.

People who put pots, pans, cast iron, and knives in the dishwasher are the SAME EXACT people who'll ask Al banal questions that a smallest modicum of research would yield a valid answer.
