Just based on looking at the images, that does look like a teflon coating and not the smooth matte finish achieved with nitride treatment.
Community Reviews
This 13 inch flat bottom wok is aimed at quick stir frying, and the bundle adds a glass lid, spatula, and cleaning whisk. The strongest praise centers on the nitrided style finish, which is described as more nonstick out of the box than a well seasoned pan and able to handle metal utensils. The main concern is that the surface may actually be a chemical nonstick coating, with reports of peeling and confusion over whether it is truly pre seasoned carbon steel. Pricing also looks inconsistent, since the advertised $20 can jump to $39 at checkout. A low cost wok option, but the finish deserves a close look.
