This is very good and accurate saw and I did buy it at $166 it's was like $180 something after taxes. But go well into it knowing that even though it's a good saw, makes accurate cuts, has good capacity, it only has one bevel and no depth stop, you can mod it with a screw for a depth stop but the reality is that you don't really need a depth stop for this type of saw. You can't use it for half lap because it doesn't slide so even with a depth stop you can't use it like that, so just get it for accurate and good capacity miter cuts or repeated cross cuts. It's simple and gets the job done, oh it's powerful too.

Got me one, we've used the same one for over 5 years for our construction company and I figured why not jump on this for home use as well, never had any issue with the one at work, though the model has changed slightly it seems but still mostly looks the same.
