Bought these like a year ago. Great for other things other than cords too. I use them for vehicle keys and even a few kitchen utensils. Worth the few bucks.

What good are they if everything around where I have cables is made out of wood or plastic. Even in the truck nothing is metal inside. I guess they could be used to hold keys, small tools ect. on the frig or stoves metal areas if the magnet is strong enough to hold any more weight than a light cable.
