How does it cook without a propane tank connected? 🤔

I suspect that last picture might not be legit.

To be honest it looks and feel cheap. Don't expect this to last you more than 5 to 10 years. But for that price that's ok. It will give you, a few summers and springs of grilling. For context, I bought a cheap char-broil grill like 4 years ago. And it's still going strong you just need to treat cheap grills right and they will last for a while.

In my experience cheap grills like this are okay if you don't mind burning the crap out of your food.

They won't have the burner quality and all the accessories to convert direct heat to indirect heat so you'll get flare-ups like crazy.

That and the longevity won't be great.

Specifically on this COWSAR grill, what jumps at me are the pictures (or lack of) of the grates. They hide it with all the food, but it looks like they cheaped out on the cast iron grates. They look like they have giant gaps in them you could drive a truck through.

After the $450 Weber Wayfair deals last July everything looks like crap.

That said, I'd probably look at a Sam's Club Member's Mark grill for the return policy.

Now is like the worst time to buy a grill. Best is July / August or random closeouts over the winter.

Yes, it is not a good option. Look for a Charbroil or Nexgrill, those at least will have parts and warranty support, and for roughly the same price. This is some low grade disposable garbage.

Lowe's has a nice Charbroil 5-burner for $279.

I have a 25 year old Weber Genesis that's finally reached the point where I can't justify all the replacement parts. By today's standards it's fairly large for a 3-burner and I have been happy with it.

I can't stomach the price of a new Weber, coupled with all the reports of their recent decline in quality. Do you have any thoughts/guidelines on buying a new Charbroil or Nexgrill? I'm very tempted on that $279 Charbroil. If it cooks well and won't need a bunch of parts in less than 5 years, that seems like a good deal. Thanks.
