When I was still working, I would use similar tools like this about once a year...but when you need them, they are handy.

The screwdriver handle in this kit really makes this way more handy than just the ratchet alone. I got the 39 piece kit for 100 on ebay and love it. Going to probably sell of my Klein 15 piece Knect set, without the screwdriver handle, I rarely used it.

I have seen pre-owned Klein Knect kits on ebay with the screwdriver handle around $35

I have the gearwrench competitor that doesn't have the handle or impact driver, but still a good cost effective tool for that "once a year" that it's the only thing that will work. However, I still find myself grabbing it a lot for regular jobs because the form factor of the case and sizes is perfect for most stuff instead of grabbing a larger set. It's currently $65 regular price at HD.

Edit: The Gearwrench has a couple sizes larger (up to 3/4) - the Klein has a couple sizes smaller.

Right before Christmas I saw this eat at Lowe's and it was marked at $30. I bought it, but didn't released how high the normal price was.
