This is YMMV, none in store near me and regular price via shipping.

Does Ring make any actual Smoke/CO detectors? The only thing I found was for a "listener" that would detect the noise of your existing Smoke/CO detectors.

That's the Kidde Smoke/CO detector. I was looking for a Ring branded one like their door sensors, motion detectors, etc. Since the Kidde one is on the Ring site I would guess that they don't make one. Sort of answers my question so thank you.

No, best I can tell there is the Kidde RGCUAR-RW and the First Alert ZCOMBO, both widely available (Costco, etc.)

The Kidde is a bit more expensive, is hardwired and takes AA batteries for backup. The one you need for new construction, where hardwired is a code requirement. It's Wi-Fi, so no Ring hub required.

The First Alert is ~10% cheaper than the Kidde, is 10-year battery powered. Not hardwired, so only suitable for adding to existing systems or replacing hardwired units, no-go for new construction (at least until the inspector leaves). It's Z-Wave, so Ring hub is required.

3rd option is any old brand of smoke detectors plus a Ring listener, a lot of people like this option, but with interconnected units (as is required by code where I live), it'll be tough to figure out which one went off first. Not sure how to solve that one...

What I REALLY want is hardwired + not $$$ + Ring compatible + Zigbee/Matter/Thread + 10-year backup battery, but such a device doesn't exist apparently...
