I like this model because it has 10A and mA posts. I use a Fluke 175 and 88V for bench readings and a 40 years old version of the 175 model for the go bag for on the road testing. For $90 you won't be upset if you smash this one around and it breaks.

I would be upset if I broke my 15B+... I'd grab a $10 HF for that.

Not true RMS is a big let down these days. It's inexcusable at these prices.

This is not a True-RMS meter, you'll need to step up to one of Fluke's TRMS models (e.g., 17B+, 110‑series, 87V, etc.), If you're doing HVAC work, this meter is a hard pass.

Just saying I'd be more upset if I broke a $400 - $600 meter than a $90 meter. Plus when I am making a diagnosis based off the data I receive from my meter. I more trust in Fluke than a generic meter. I am sure they are just fine, but my money, time and reputation is involved when I tell someone I know what the issue is with their electrical concerns. I cannot second guess myself that the numbers I recorded were real numbers.

Then go to Harbor Freight. Get an inferior meter that doesn't auto-range, has crappy leads, less functionality, cheaper build quality, BUT it does cost less...

A cheap Chinese/Taiwanese true RMS meter starts around+$25. No issue with durability or accuracy under non-laboratory environment. The $127 BM235 is par with Fluke 87.
