I prefer the mechanical strumbar more and then just buy a separate mechanical neck. The Xbox ones are going on sale likely indicate they aren't selling well. It's also on sale on Woot for a little bit less for both Xbox models. The reason I believe the Xbox models aren't selling well other than regularly going on sale on Amazon and Woot is that the Xbox models are not getting the new refresh so far. They haven't setup preorders for Xbox with the pickguard design.
The standard neck on the black tribal is quite terrible though. The frets are too stiff even with removing the rubber pieces on the frets. Also I believe you can change the Xbox model to behave like the multiplatform through Retro Cult Mod Minihost adapter.

Is that for the xbox version or multi platform one? I have a USB xbox controller adapter I use to connect my xbox controllers to PC. Can I use that? Or the adapter that come with the guitar?

Both are compatible with PC. Xbox version just makes it compatible with Xbox One/Series S/X and Multiplatform can connect to PS3/PS4/PS5. You use the adapter that comes with the guitar.
