Great game. This is one of those titles that is better digital so you can play it anytime instead of messing with different game cards. Lowest eshop price has been about $12.

It's also a perfect mobile/tablet game. Good fit for a switch too!

Best platform for this awesome game is on the phone. Got this for $4 on Google Play (sale + $3 off). You're definitely paying a premium just to play on the Switch.

For anyone with a Switch 2, a few things to point out:
  • There's a new Switch 2 version of Balatro out
  • It's free if you have a digital copy for Switch -- but not for the physical version
  • The main improvements are 60fps & mouse mode support
  • It shows up as a separate game
  • There's currently no way to transfer progress from the Switch 1 version to the Switch 2 version
