question for the experts. refurb lithium batteries; how do we know how many cycles are on them?
For the regular 300Ah versions, the overkill BMS app says how many cycles when you first connect. Not sure about these 50ah (equal to one 12v 200AH battery), but I presume higher discharge rate since it is golf cart version and would hope the difference is more than just a metal housing and prewired series/parallel connection since if I was doing it myself I'd prefer 4 of the 100AH for the same price after coupon (or within 40 bucks I think)......IF and big IF..they are same discharge rate/performance (meaning I get more for my $ with the PITA being I wire them together myself...big whoop).
Can this be used like the other eco worthy batteries as a backup to ecoflow?
Yes. I think most (if not all) Ecoflow units support up to 60V input power so this would be ideal vs a 12 or 24V LFP battery (which would be limited to around 200W and 380W respectively). With 2x500W (15A) MPPT input per port on the Delta 3 Plus, you'll be able to get 1000W input off this one battery. Use a fuse and decent size wires though because 30A continuous is a pretty serious draw.

There's a new trick these days where you can put a resistor across a couple of pins on the expansion port and a relay inside enables it.. Then you can use any 48v battery wired up to it if you do that. I think someone might make cables too. If you do it this way, the Ecoflow unit can also charge the battery.

That sounds... sketchy and warranty-voiding, lol.. but I'm curious. Got a link?

Hopefully this post doesn't get blocked, but here's one video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPfIATEccrI
It may mostly work only with the Delta 2 and Delta 2 Max, but the guy in this video mentions that there may be other models it works with.

It works with Delta Pro 3's also. There are several YT vidoes where people have done. this, one with showing it being done with several ecoflow models (deltas) and a link to an image that shows what pins need to have the resistor . It only works with specific models. I cut a DP3 cable rather than trying to add the resistor at the device itself. You have to start with both the device and battery charged to 100%. You can also connect the battery to the solar port of models that support 60+ volts but it's not bidirectional. The ecoflow could use the battery but the battery would have to be charged independently

I'm thinking of a parallel setup for 48v inverter. Like it mentions a 4p setup being supported.
TIA.
