This MSI MPG A850GS is an A tier 850 watt PCIe 5 modular power supply that stands out for strong value at the current price. The same price is available on Amazon, and the MSI rebate has a paperless option. The 1000 watt version of this model is described as running cool and quiet, which supports the line's reputation. The main caution is coil whine, and the rebate delivery has drawn complaints, so the deal is strongest if those tradeoffs do not matter.
The A850GS model is rated A-tier by SPL, which supports strong PSU performance expectations.
The MSI rebate process offers a paperless option for submitting the claim.
The 1000W version of this model reportedly runs cool and quiet during use.
The PSU can be a good deal even without relying on the rebate offer.
The rebate may be delivered as a prepaid card, which can feel inconvenient.
Rebate fulfillment can fail, since a prior MSI rebate reportedly was never received.
The PSU can produce annoying coil whine, which may matter for quiet listening setups.
The current $79.99 after rebate may not be the lowest historical price, since it was reportedly $65 about a year ago.

Should be eligible for the same rebate, it only specifies marketplace sellers on Amazon or Newegg as being ineligible on the info provided. They have a paperless option on the MSI rebate site.
It's also eligible as one of multiple products in a review promotion for Amazon GCs
