Depends on how many rolls you plan to shoot. You can get a used tank and dark bag (for opening film canister and loading reels) on ebay. With the chemicals you get at least 24 rolls of 35mm film (12 of 120) processed before the chemicals begin to shift. I like to use the exhausted chemistry to x-process e-6 chromes in c-41. The chemistry costs $29.99
