Apple Watch Series 9 GPS and cellular stands out here for the stainless steel version, which feels more premium than aluminum and pairs with sapphire glass for better scratch resistance. The brown box packaging is unusual for a new watch, but the watch itself arrives new and can set up cellular easily through the Apple Watch setup app. Shipping has also come in quickly, with some orders arriving in two days. A few caveats remain around the generic packaging and reports of warranty issues, so it is best for shoppers focused on the stainless build and deal price.

  • Visible+ Pro setup can be handled through the Apple Watch setup app, which can confirm and activate cellular service.

  • Stainless steel models cost only about $10 more than the pink aluminum option, making the upgrade feel more worthwhile.

    LivelyTeam848

  • The watch can arrive quickly, with one order reporting delivery in two days after ordering.

    sidb1

  • Unboxing can include two USB charger pads, which may make charging more convenient for home and travel.

    sidb1

  • The watch can arrive in a generic brown box even when it is described as new, which raises return-expectation questions.

    charly_besidb1

  • The stainless option may be limited to the 41mm size, which can be a drawback if you want 45mm.

    LivelyTeam848

  • The side knob can feel harder to turn when a protective case adds thickness, even though it still works.

    sidb1

  • The watch can be reported as out of warranty despite the listing's warranty claim, which can create risk if coverage matters.

They still have the Series 9 in stainless for only $10 more, much better deal imho. Also no brown box, haven't seen that with non-refurb Apple Watches before.

Only in the smaller 41mm size, bummer.

Doesn't hurt to check your local Walmart, they have the Series 10 on clearance for cheaper than this if there's stock available. Online inventory isn't correct so the only way to find out is to walk in and ask. Worth a stop if you're heading there anyway.

Agreed, it's terrible. I almost never look there unless SD has a post that leads me there.

Where's the best place to trade in a Stainless-Steel Watch 8 Wi-Fi + Cellular? If I could get $100 for it, I'd trade up to the 9 for the wife.

Honest question, what would be the benefits of having that one for $50 less than the Apple Watch 11 GPS-cellular? The trade in value is almost $100 less than the Apple Watch 11. I am asking because I am going to buy a new one, but I usually use it for 2 years.

Fair question. All honesty, wanted stainless steel case & crystal sapphire face. Feels more like luxury. That & didn't need upgrades that 11 offered.End of day, up to what matters more to you. A $700 MSRP watch for $250 seemed like a steal to me.

Kind of weird the watch is new but comes in a generic box, can it be returned if not meet my expectations?
