Typical really, but yeah it's a what should be $330 combo with $100 extra for DDR5 right now, and a junk AIO. The motherboard is okay, better than the ASUS that Micro Center has with the 7600X bundle at $350.

Sadly, $100 is quite a generous markup these days. IMO I'd just consider it a "full price" combo and go for it

I kept plenty of stock of DDR5 for what builds I'm actually accepting now, so no thanks. I would be happy to take the CPUs and boards off buyers that might be tempted to list them on fleabay thoughSmilie

Never in my 40 years of building computers has my last years build been worth more than what I built it for $$$$
Get ready for the next punch in the gut. Besides memory soon to be a cpu shortage as well

The mobo sucks on the micro center deal?

Right now it's the B650E Max Gaming WiFi, which is budget, despite the name. It's better than their Prime boards though, those are rough. This MSI PRO B850-S is also budget, so the only draw here would be the lower temps and slightly better performance of the 9600X vs. 7600X.

Build a few hundred of them, and get back to me then. Also, why ask me how it is, then reply that you have it. Nobody has time for that noise.
