There's no way the grinder in this thing is any good compared to a standalone grinder, but if you actually put a good dose of fresh beans in this and grind it right before your brew, its still going to be a dramatically better cup than anything you'll get out of a keurig or similar single cup brewer. Good quality, freshly roasted beans is the number one most important aspect of coffee, grinding them daily is number 2. Basically everything after that pales in comparison. So if this is what it takes for you to grind your beans fresh, then I'd say give one o of these a shot at this price. Then, once you get hooked on the higher quality coffee, go buy a kingrinder and a V60 like all us coffee freaks do lol

I bought this during another recent SD. I like it alot so far. I put fresh beans and water before each use.

I bought a London sip from Sam's, a manual grinder for $20. I immediately figured out that a cheaper grinder has a lot of play and loose tolerances. imma need to get a better one next grinder i buy.

but you are right eight o clock coffee even in blade grinder is bettter than preground, and the hand grinder only made it better.
