Five Guys is a customizable burger deal that shines when loaded with toppings, Cajun fries, and the app or promo code. The BOGO math brings burgers down to roughly five to six dollars each in several checkout examples, and the free peanuts and generous fry portions add value. The main knocks are the high regular prices, extra fees on delivery, and the fact that fries and buns can be soggy or inconsistent at some locations. It feels like a solid way to get a better burger for less, especially if you skip the full meal upsell.
Common Questions (5)
The code is one-time use per account and can only be redeemed once, even though it stays valid through the listed dates. Some shoppers were able to use it again only by trying a different location or account.
The coupon field appears near the payment step in the Five Guys app checkout. If manual entry fails, copying the code exactly can fix it, and some locations may not show the promo field at all if they do not participate.
Fries are not included, and adding them can reduce the savings. When ordered, the portions are often large enough to share, with a regular fries order sometimes feeding 1-3 people and a medium described as a very large bagful.
Two Little Cheeseburgers can come out to about $9.17 total, or roughly $4.58 each, after the promo and tax. A larger example with two double cheeseburgers has been reported at $13 out the door, making the deal especially strong if you skip fries and drinks.
It applies to burger items, not other sandwich items like hot dogs, patty melts, veggie sandwiches, BLTs, or grilled cheese. The cart also needs eligible burger items, or it can show an error that the basket does not contain discount-eligible items.

I'll go for this deal.
I can also justify paying full price for their fries, because they really are that good!
"Yeah, I love an in-in-out double double animal style, but they still don't hold a candle to 5G. And we're not even going to talk about fry quality.
I'm not sure where the idea about 5G quality decline comes from; I'll grant you it's been 30 years since my first one (in Arlington, no less), but they're still pretty darned good.
Back in the day, I want to say they were around $3 for a little cheeseburger. Also back then ground beef was 1.49 a pound at retail. Now it's 9.99. I'm not saying their burger prices should be proportional, but that's a pretty massive increase. I'll admit going there solo is an expensive option, but going there as a family (of three) and sharing fries ($48 with tax in December '25) is on par with going to Wendy's and getting the main menu combos ($51 in late November '25, 3 combos, 2 child frostys). Eating out just isn't for the faint of wallet anymore."
There were others about the double double and animal style.
It had been a few years since I had been to one, went in and seen the price and thought, no way...and yes, I am one of those people who turned around and left
