Check seller recent negagive feedback. Lots of complaints of abused returns sold as "new open box". Have had similar experience with them along with difficult return process.

Cheapest TV possible, then buying the ones people returned because they didn't like it or they were defective. Sounds like a great thing to buy.

A friend of mine bought an open box Samsung LED from ebay once. It was so puzzling. I never turn the contrast or backlight up to torch mode because it ruins the picture. That TV was the only one you had to turn up all the way and it still looked like crap. This was before Samsung started outsourcing all their panels too. But I assume it as a Chinese Panel.

Paid $200 new back in Nov 2021. Very light use and half of the LEDs went out, so I took it apart and ordered a new set for $30 from eBay. I would not buy open box at all, especially something this size from VIP.

Do not buy from this seller!!!

I bought a pair of Samsung buds from then that was listed as new but damaged box. They sent me a used set of buds that was still linked to the previous buyer and didn't even work.
