Edit: Just cancelled my order. Too many negative recent reviews, and I'm not confident in the aluminum encapsulation design here. Still, $14 tough to beat...but I've got too many pans I already don't use Smilie

Tried a few times and I got the "failed to add item to cart" message, but kept trying and eventually it added and my purchase went through. Now it does seem OoS. Thanks, OP!

While the overall 4.5 reviews are solid, there are too many DIFFERENT one-star issues and it appears there is a quality control problem.

"Exception design"

I guess Cuisinart is too cheap to hire people with English language competence

Most of the negative reviews are from people that don't understand how stainless steel pans work

It's a little of both.

This looks like one of those cheap "disc bottom" type pans that has a multi-layer bottom and single layer side walls. So the one complaint about the disc detaching from the rest of the pan is a legit complaint and isn't a good sign on quality.

But yeah, there's clearly people who don't know how stainless steel pans work. The one person complaining about "rust" and posted pictures of it obviously doesn't know what rust is. Her pan simply developed a patina, which every stainless pan in existence will develop and can easily be cleaned off with something like Bar Keeper's Friend, if someone really wants to.
