| Product Description: | The RYOBI 1.8 GPM Automotive High Flow Pressure Washer is ideal for automotive professionals and car enthusiasts. With a design that prioritizes an increased water flow of 1.8 GPM, this high-performance pressure washer achieves a deeper more effective clean than other models. The shortened design of the stubby trigger handle provides less vibration than a standard trigger handle, creating a comfortable one-handed experience while also allowing you to stand closer to your vehicle. The specialized automotive nozzles can attach directly to the trigger handle and feature a dome design and protective overmold enhancing durability and precision. The 15° nozzle offers a concentrated spray for tough stains, the 25° for general cleaning, and the 40° for a gentle rinse. The included foamer delivers thick soap to clean dirt and grime effectively. The included 40' hose is 2X longer than a standard hose, making it easier to reach around your vehicle without constantly moving the pressure washer. This pressure washer is also great for cleaning patio furniture, driveways, and other outdoor tasks, making it a versatile addition to your collection. Additionally, the RYOBI Foam Blaster Detergent soap refill is best used for removing dirt, grease, oil, grime, road film and stains caused by algae, mold, and mildew. This product is formulated for use on vinyl, wood, brick, stucco, concrete, cement, asphalt, fiberglass, tile, stone, aggregate, metal, plastics and vehicles. |

This RYOBI washer is tuned for auto detailing, with lower pressure and higher flow that make car washing faster and easier than general purpose units. The 40 foot flexible hose, stubby handle, and included foam blaster and detergent refill add convenience, and the extra flow stands out versus typical 1.2 GPM setups. It can handle light cleaning on vinyl siding, patio furniture, windows, and lawn equipment, but concrete needs a gas washer and a surface cleaner for serious buildup. It is a practical pick when car care is the priority and light home cleaning is secondary.
auto detailing and regular car washing because commenters say the lower PSI and higher GPM are intentional for cars, and they call it a "sweet spot" that's convenient and fast compared with other washers they own.
people who want to do light exterior cleaning like vinyl siding because commenters say it should work for vinyl siding and light cleaning, with one noting they'd use angle spray nozzles for lightly soiled concrete and siding (nothing that needs heavy removal).
buyers who also want quick cleanup jobs like patio furniture, umbrellas/cushions, window washing, or lawn equipment because commenters list those as additional use-case scenarios beyond cars.
military/veteran shoppers buying through the Exchange because one commenter says it can be purchased for $125 tax-free via the Exchange.
owners who are upgrading from a basic 1.2 GPM electric setup because commenters say the extra 0.6 GPM is meaningful and that the included 40 ft hose plus better handle/extension can save money versus buying aftermarket hose and accessories.
homeowners trying to deep-clean unsealed concrete because commenters warn it "will not work for concrete unless your concrete is sealed," and another says concrete cleaning can take all day without the right setup (like a gas washer and surface cleaner).
people planning to pressure wash windows or AC units without extra caution because commenters report a previous owner ruined thermopane window seals and an AC unit by pressure washing.
buyers who want to use it like a high-power gas washer for cars with long spray gaps because one commenter says gas washers can damage the pump and high pressure can damage paint if you don't have the setup right (they recommend electric for other tasks and gas for concrete/soffits).

40ft decent flexible hose vs the stiffer hoses most cheaper ones come with
higher GPM lower pressure which is better for washing cars
I have several other pressure washers (1.2 gpm 1800 psi electric and 4.0 Gpm 4400psi gas). This is by far the most convenient and fastest to use for the cars.
PS. It's a good price, but these used to be $150 in August of last year, so they did jack up the price for this season.
