This was Dreamwork's first movie, a classic for sure. Genuinely well done, especially considering how junk so much Christian adjacent stuff tends to be.

If people could get past their perception of this as a "religious movie" and view it simply as being based on a legend, they might watch it and realize that it's one of the greatest traditionally animated movies of all time. The storytelling (directed by Steven Spielberg) cast (multiple famous actors), music (Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey sing the end credits song) and animation are amazing. Sort of like a Disney animated film but with more weight. This may be one of the most overlooked movies of all time.
